“I couldn’t believe I had found a job that allowed me to work from anywhere, while also enjoying the clientele that I adore, and helping to improve someone’s life by finding them a partner. I was hooked from that moment on,” says Hayley.

As the Founder, Hayley brings over a decade of high-end retail management experience, excelling in customer service and styling advice. Her knack for connecting people led her to matchmaking, starting with her first job of helping clients enhance their online profiles. 

With years in the matchmaking industry and a certification from the prestigious Global Love Institute, formerly The Matchmaking Institute, Hayley now excels in traditional matchmaking, leading her team with a focus on exceptional service and detail. Motivated by her late father’s support, she founded Cohen Gray Connections, embodying his entrepreneurial spirit. The name “Cohen Gray” is a tribute to the middle names of Hayley’s beloved children, symbolizing the best aspects that arise from true love.

“I won’t deny that thoughts of failure occasionally surface, but I strive to quickly dismiss them and trust that I am exactly where I need to be,” she says.

A Memorable Match

One of Hayley’s most memorable matches happened long before she officially became a matchmaker. It was during the Jewish holidays at a family friend’s house when she met an incredibly special and lovely woman. As they talked, Hayley couldn’t help but think about how perfect she would be for one of her closest male friends at the time. 

Hayley called her friend immediately and told him, ‘You have to meet this woman; there’s just something about her that’s perfect for you.’ To her delight, they met that very night and ended up spending the whole evening talking. 

Two years later, they were married. This story is particularly close to Hayley’s heart because it happened before she even knew matchmaking existed and would become her career. 

“It was a serendipitous moment that hinted at the path I was meant to follow. And yes, they are still happily married today, which is a wonderful reminder of meant to be for me,” she says.

For the Young looking for Partners

Hayley often tells young clients who are beginning their search for love to picture themselves in 20 years. 

“Focus on the qualities and values that will still matter to you in the long run. It’s easy to get caught up in aspects that may fade over time. Although physical attraction plays an important role in relationships, it’s essential to recognize that appearances can change. What’s more important is ensuring you can still laugh, talk, and connect with your partner on a deeper level. Choose someone you can grow and evolve with, as one common issue that leads to divorce is when people don’t grow together. If you envision becoming a parent, select someone whose character you admire and would be proud to have your children call mom or dad. Ultimately, a person’s true emotional connection with you is the most crucial element in a lasting relationship,” she advises.

“As we expand, my top priority will be ensuring that both our clients and staff feel valued and appreciated. I am genuinely excited about what the future holds and can’t wait to see where we will be in the next five years. To achieve this vision, I am focusing on the present, ensuring that we give 100% every day. I want our growth to happen gradually and organically,” she concludes.
