Saudi Arabia will host the 5th Capital Markets Forum (CMF) in Riyadh from February 18 to 20, 2025. This important event highlights the country’s growing role in global finance. Organized by the Saudi Tadawul Group and supported by Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan, the forum will discuss the latest trends in Saudi Arabia’s capital markets.
Powering Connections in Global Finance
CMF 2025, called “Powering Connections,” aims to open up investment opportunities and promote strategic alliances. The event will bring together policymakers, business executives, and industry experts to address major developments in the nation’s capital markets. Eng. Khalid Al-Hussan, CEO of Saudi Tadawul Group, stressed the forum’s role in aligning the Saudi capital market with global best practices and Vision 2030.
Diverse Agenda and Distinguished Speakers
The three-day forum will feature a comprehensive agenda, including panel discussions, presentations, and networking opportunities. Day one, held at the KAFD Conference Center, will focus on topics such as digital transformation, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investments, regional economic integration, and market diversification. The subsequent days at the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh will offer specialized initiatives like the “Investor Hub” and “Investor Bootcamp,” aimed at enhancing investor engagement and financial market knowledge.
Notable speakers include H.E. Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance; H.E. Khaled Al-Falih, Minister of Investment; Poppy Gustafsson, UK Minister of Investment; Sarah Al-Suhaimi, Chairperson of Saudi Tadawul Group; and Bonnie Chan, CEO of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited. Their participation highlights the forum’s global significance and the Kingdom’s commitment to fostering international collaboration.

A highlight of CMF 2025 is the presentation of the 2024 Saudi Capital Market Awards, recognizing outstanding achievements across 17 categories, including “IPO of the Year” and “Sustainability Program of the Year.” These awards underscore the critical role of market participants in advancing Saudi Arabia’s financial ecosystem in alignment with global best practices.
Building on Previous Successes
The coming forum follows the success of before variations. The 2024 event attracted approximately 4,200 attendees and fulfilled 15,000 meeting requests from investors, issuers, and market players. Such participation underscores the forum’s status as a leading platform for networking and investment opportunities.
