Hailing from Algeria, as a single teen mom, Narimane Benderdouche has witnessed the tumults that life can offer. Triumphing over all obstacles, Narimane Benderdouche is now a strong, independent and bright woman with a passion to bring about a positive change in society. Narimane Benderdouche is exceptionally skilled and has versatile knowledge spanning multiple fields. Over the years, she has worked in different sectors which renders her an invaluable asset to any company. As of now, she works at the National Bank.
She and her company develop business solutions and strategies for either B2B or B2C customers. The strength of the association represents the value that they add to the propositions of their existing and future customers. Straben and Consulting cover several fields of practice: marketing, technology, finance and human resources. The team offers marketing strategies and implements associated solutions to achieve the desired results.
Narimane Benderdouche is about to start her venture, a Pilates Accessories Brand, NB Pilates. She is also in the process of completing her PhD research on philanthropy in collaboration with UQAM. Her PhD is jointly offered by ESG UQAM, HEC Montréal, Concordia University, and McGill University, under the supervision of her research director, Elizabeth Robinot.
From the age of 15, Narimane Benderdouche became involved in the fight for women’s rights in Algeria in the Algerian women’s association claiming their right FAARD where she represented the young Algerian woman in several countries namely finance, Greece, belgium , France, Jordan … etc. she organized intercultural trips for several young women, from a large family, her father studied law and found a very good position which allowed them to go around of the world, her era being a math teacher, she lived more than 10 years in Morocco, Spain and Mali in the company of her family, which is an asset for her, as she has been in contact with several people and different cultures.

HER INCEPTION STORY
Narimane Benderdouche has always been determined and focused on everything that she undertakes. From a young age, Narimane was motivated to build something out-of-the-ordinary and address people’s problems with creative thinking. She wanted to forge her path in the world.
Narimane was born in Oran, Algeria, North Africa. As a child, Narminae was primarily interested in aviation. She has always been encouraged by organizational dynamics and the effective coordination of people and resources. Narimane has always housed a positive outlook on things which has severely contributed to her success.
Growing up, Narimane realised that she had an eye for business. Unlike most businessmen/women Narimane Benderdouche ideals lie beyond profit-maximisation, she believes in extending worthy and resourceful solutions to her clients. She built Straben and Consulting because she was passionate about taking up all kinds of projects, campaigns and taking the organization to the next level through the introduction of innovative ideas, powerful strategies and establishing strong inter-industrial relationships. She has always been ahead of her time in everything she undertook.
She moved to Canada in 2016 and decided to pursue her passion. Being a foreign student, Narimane was out of resources and people she could fall back upon. She came to the country with her two kids. These challenges didn’t stop her, rather motivated her to achieve her goals and create a beautiful life for her and her family. She completed her studies at the University du Quebec a Montreal. Alongside,
she worked on digital marketing and the behaviour of the consumer at the university. Furthering her interest in teaching and educating young minds, she began working as a teacher and researcher at UQAM. Narimane has also worked as a teacher at the University of Oran UFC. Currently, she works as a teacher and instructor at the college of Canada where she gives courses on digital marketing in English.
An exceptionally skilled woman Narimane Benderdouche also has ten years of experience working in the banking sector. She worked at in groupe banque populaire filiale Natixis, Algeria and in Fransabank in Lebanon. She continually works at the Royal Bank of Canada as an expert financial adviser.
Being a teen mom, Narimane Benderdouche is aware of the obstacles that stand in the way, when a woman commences her career. She believes that her life’s journey is an inspiration to women and girls around her. She motivates all the girls across the globe to take a leap of faith and pursue their passion with a burning desire and make it come true.

Deeply committed to holistic well-being, Narimane Benderdouche is also a certified Pilates instructor collaborating with Blackburn Pilates Studio in Montreal. Through her teaching, she promotes strength, balance, and body awareness, empowering individuals to reconnect with their physical and mental health.
Her Pilates journey began with her training at Blackline Pilates, where she developed her skills in Reformer and Mat Pilates. She is deeply grateful to Élie Fugère, whose encouragement, trust, and guidance helped her surpass her limits, discover her love for movement, and embrace sport as a lifestyle. Today, she shares her passion by teaching at DOZE Pilates and Naturl, inspiring others to build strength, confidence, and balance. Combining her background in finance, marketing, wellness, and entrepreneurship, Narimane is committed to creating a welcoming space where movement, self-care, and community come together through NB Pilates.
Continuing her expansion into the wellness industry, she is developing a new line of Pilates-related products. Designed with both performance and aesthetics in mind, this upcoming collection aims to elevate the fitness experience while reflecting her signature style: sophisticated, intentional, and empowering.
