SAP Customer Experience (SAP CX ) has secured more than 100 Leader positions across the G2 Fall 2026 Grid Reports, reinforcing its presence across customer experience, commerce, sales, service, and engagement technology. The recognition spans multiple categories, market segments, regions, and report formats, with rankings based entirely on verified customer reviews.
Unlike analyst-driven evaluations, G2 rankings are determined by feedback from actual software users. G2 co-founder and CEO Godard Abel noted that achieving a Leader position is highly competitive because the rankings reflect verified customer experiences, giving buyers an indication of how products perform in real-world environments.
Strong Performance Across SAP CX Portfolio
SAP Commerce Cloud was among the standout performers. The platform ranked first in the Enterprise segment for Order Management and second overall. It also improved its position in Enterprise E-Commerce Platforms, moving from third to second, while advancing from third to second overall in Omnichannel Commerce.
SAP Sales Cloud also maintained a strong position in enterprise sales technology. It ranked third among 54 providers in the CRM Enterprise category and fourth among 35 global providers in Enterprise Sales Analytics.
SAP Service Cloud earned Leader recognition in the Global Enterprise Help Desk Grid, highlighting its position in enterprise service management. Meanwhile, SAP Engagement Cloud retained leadership positions in email deliverability and personalization engines, supporting organizations managing high-volume customer communications.
AI Becomes Central to SAP CX Strategy
Beyond its G2 performance, SAP is expanding the role of artificial intelligence across its customer experience portfolio. Recent innovations include an agentic opportunity summary in SAP Sales Cloud that consolidates engagement and activity signals to provide sales teams with a real-time view of deals.
SAP Incentive Management now incorporates AI-supported recommendations, while SAP Service Cloud features an AI-first email editor designed to help agents create customer communications more efficiently.
SAP Engagement Cloud has introduced an AI-assisted content composer capable of generating and adapting email copy and imagery through natural-language prompts. In Commerce Cloud, conversational AI shopping through Model Context Protocol integration enables AI agents to access product catalogs, provide inventory information, manage carts, and support transactions through conversational interfaces.
Customer Experience as the Benchmark
The latest G2 recognition underscores SAP CX’s emphasis on customer feedback while highlighting a broader technological transition. Across sales, service, marketing, and commerce, SAP is positioning AI not simply as an analytical capability, but as an active component of customer interactions and enterprise workflows.
